The 'Tincat Works' is a well-sized, tasty breakfast, that provided a great start to the morning. The chorizo packs a subtle, yet flavoursome, punch and is the highlight of the dish. No complaints about the coffee either and that is always a good sign.

The only down side was the name of the cafe itself. We almost considered not going. We think TinDOG works better.

Situated in the lovely setting of the Adelaide Hills, Patch, with it's cubby house and play area, is the perfect weekend spot for young families.

However, let us tell you that the Eggs with (5) Benefits isn't for the little ones. The home-made hash browns were the highlight of this very generous serving.
Although slightly on the pricey side, Patch is a must visit.

The Big Dog's love their eggs runny but these underdone poached eggs, served as part of Duthy Street Deli's 'Big Breakfast', let down an otherwise reasonably sized, standard big brekky.
And they didn't make up for it with their coffee either.
Although we won't rush back, at some point, we'll give them another go because we love the spot.

We, the Big Dogs, love the Central Market. We also love all forms of leftovers so, naturally, our favourite time to visit the market is after lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon when the vendors slash their prices to sell all of their current week's stock.

This was, however, until we experienced a lively Saturday morning breakfast at the Big Table. The produce was fresh and delicious, the coffee got the job done and the wonderful, vibrant atmosphere was very enjoyable. And the AVOCADO. It's been a few weeks without our favourite breakfast addition and there is no better place to get the paws on a nice, juicy avo.

Just one thing before we sign off...although it may be called The Big Table, there are not many big tables around so prepare to hunt around or wait on a busy morning to find a seat!

Bitchin by name but but not bitchin by nature. Although very large in size, which did delight us, the flavours were lacking. A superb location on the vibrant Semaphore Road and, with the beach only metres away, we still had a nice morning frolicing in the water.

Located just behind K-Mart - everyone's favourite discount store - on Anzac Highway, Froth and Fodder is another hidden gem tucked away in our suburbs.
The Big Dog's always welcome the addition of beans and, on this occasion, they helped the Farmer's Breakfast provide the variety that kept out tails waggin'.
Good coffee, good food and a good excuse to pick up a few bargains at K-Mart afterwards.

Immediately impressed by the warm, inviting and bohemian-like atmosphere of the place, we began to wonder why it has taken us so long to come in. No French bulldogs to be seen as yet either. This is a good thing as haven’t got on well with them in the past.
L’Atelier Gourmand, a small French café, tucked slightly away from the busy Goodwood Road, has been in our sights for a while now and a sunny Sunday morning seemed like the perfect opportunity to sniff our way down Gilbert St and check it out. Immediately impressed by the warm, inviting and bohemian-like atmosphere of the place, we began to wonder why it has taken us so long to come in. No French bulldogs to be seen as yet either. This is a good thing as haven’t got on well with them in the past. They might not be as smart as us or run a food blog (but hey, what other dogs can?) but they certainly like to hunt the footy at Goodwood Oval. We think we have them covered in the contested possession count though

For only $20, the delicious and very satisfying ‘Full Spread’, which features far more variety than our daily serve of pedigree, was great value for money and the quiet and relaxed outdoor setting of Rosey’s provided a great start to the morning.

We should know by now but going out for breakfast on a Monday may often pose a problem. With Monday and Tuesday being the common days of closure in the hospitality industry, we found ourselves confronting a number of depressing closed signs. Maybe depressing is too strong but it certainly is tough when you have been hanging out for your morning coffee fix. After heading towards  the ever-popular The Stranded Store in Colonel Light Gardens before realising it was closed, we made our way to Rosey’s Café on Unley Road.
